Lacrimosa Announced
Devir Games has announced Lacrimosa, expected to be released later this year. It's a game themed around Wolfgang Mozart. "During the game you will play in two different timelines: the present and the past. In the present you commission the missing parts of the Requiem from other composers in order to complete it. When developing past events, the game will play in five epochs in which you will contribute by buying new compositions from the composer to sell or exhibit, accompany him on the different journeys through the main courts and theatres in Europe, and gather the resources you need in order to support the musician during his career."

Reviews
Café (One Board Family): “The game is more abstract and the coffee theme is not entirely necessary. If you find yourself easily frustrated by spatial puzzles, Café might not be your cup of tea (or coffee). For us, this game hits the sweet spot of a medium-weight game that can hit the table on date night or to finish a game night with friends.”

Cactus Town (Unfiltered Gamer): “Once I got the hang of the gameplay in Cactus Town, it was super easy to execute and games played fast. The rulebook is really a challenge and I’d encourage you to watch one of the how-to video’s online to get a good understanding. The game isn’t super complicated, it just took me a minute to get going. Setup isn’t bad, but there is a decedent amount of stuff in this small box game.”

Town 66 (Tabletop Games Blog): “Most games are full of excitement and while some are nerve-racking from the start, other times a game starts slowly and calmly and then builds up to a crescendo. It’s such a quick game that you probably play it a few times in a single session. It’s that addictive.”
