News Flash: Run Released, Nestlings Announced
Run Released
Fowers Games has released a new deduction, hidden movement game for two players. "One player is the Runner, who is navigating a city skyline and using gadgets. Pursuing him is the Dispatcher, sending her helicopter and patrol cars to hunt him down. The Runner has a limited supply of movement tiles, so he'll need to plan ahead to not paint himself in a corner. Every movement also leaves clues for the Dispatcher to deduce where he went."

Scoring Pad Website
A free website has been released to provide an easy way to calculate your points in a selection of board games. There are currently 30 games with score pads available. "My goal was to create a minimalist, friction-free tool with a spreadsheet-like interface that replaces scoresheets or a score pad. A digital tool like this isn't for everyone, but you may enjoy the convenience of it, especially for more complex scoring rules."

Reviews
Jekyll & Hyde vs. Scotland Yard (Meeple Mountain): “I admire it tremendously, enjoy it fully, and I have a hard time imagining I’d ever be unhappy to play it. I’m not sure if I love it, but I very well might. Scotland Yard is simultaneously two things. The first is a 20-minute cooperative affair filled with tension and small but clever decisions. The second is a strange, gnarly, unknowable gremlin of a game.”

Art Society (Opinionated Gamers): “A fascinating game that has a bit of auction action to it but also has a nice spatial puzzle bit as well.”

String Railway (What’s Eric Playing): “I love games with a sense of accomplishment after you finish, and the expansiveness of it has a bit of a tiny garden energy to it, since it’s cute and friendly (even if it can get a little mean as you lay track to block players or, in String Railway, connect to certain stations to cost them points). I also really enjoy the player colors! They’re fun and a little pastel. We love that kind of thing. High interactivity makes for a lot of fun, even if you’re trying to dodge around other players’ nonsense.”
