The latest news from Casual Game Revolution and the board game industry.

We have been working around the clock to develop and deploy an updated website to coincide with the release of the first issue of Casual Game Insider. We're happy to report that the new website is now live! So, what's new, you ask?

You could be a published author in Casual Game Insider, the one and only magazine about casual board games!

We are now calling for submissions from anyone who is interested in writing about casual games. Whether you're a published author, prominent industry figure, or just passionate about casual games, we are interested in what you have to say.

The first issue of Casual Game Insider is coming together well and we are very excited about the content. We believe this magazine is going to knock your socks off!

We have selected the following articles for publication in the first issue, which will be published in Q4 2012 (the titles are tentative):

The ad packet for Casual Game Insider is now available! The packet includes information about the magazine, a detailed description of our ad and sponsorship packages, and complete design templates.

By advertising in Casual Game Insider, you'll be able to reach the most targeted audience available for casual games, including the retailers interested in selling them and the casual gamers who walk into their stores.

Whether you represent a publisher, distributor, manufacturer, or design studio, you can have peace of mind that your message about casual games will hit the mark – each and every time.

We're happy to announce that the Casual Game Insider magazine is now on Kickstarter! The magazine will contain tools like posters, shelf labels, demo guides, case studies, and recommendations to help retailers highlight casual games in their stores and promote them more effectively to casual walk-ins.

With the help of our industry panel, we have formulated version 1.0 of the casual game definition. Using the definition as a guide, the Casual Game Revolution program will create better recognition for casual games and tools to promote them directly to the intended audience.
